Hello Linda,
Glad to hear from you, I wrote Martie some time ago, I'd forgottenall about him, he's on the old computer.
The notes I have came originally from the LaFever Bible, whichbelonged to Martha Bailey Lefever.
They were copied into the bible which Julia had, by whom I don'tknow, could have been her grandmothers bible. This is how the notes startout; Bible Record, The contents of this Bible have been taken from theFamily Bible which belonged to Martha Bailey Lafever. Presented to herfrom her son Millard Theodore LeFever.
Julia gave the bible to a doctor to hold until she could pay the debtof her last childs birth. The doctor, from what my mother told me did notwant to take it but she insisted. He told her if anything ever happenedto him he would make sure she was to get it back.He passed away and shenever found the bible.
I found the Bible, Julia had given the doctor late in 1999. Thedaughter who kept it had given it to her son, they said it's in hisbasement and he doesn't care to look for it. Also she told me he had tornour family info out and added theirs. The doctors other daughter told meher father always kept it on a shelf in his office. Anyway, they don'twant to even let me see it.
Anyway that is were I found the Rocky and Elizabeth "Betsy" LeFever.
I'll check out the sites, thanks, Bob
